So, what the heck is this? It's Dr. Mario on the Nintendo 64! Oddly, though, the characters populating the whole thing are from Wario's handheld game "Wario Land 3", so it's actually more a game themed on him. Weird, huh?

If you know all about this game, or just want to get to the action, I suggest you skip to rounds 8 and 9 which start in video number 4.

Hang around, and you'll see a guy who hasn't played the game in about a year try to fumble his way through what some consider a puzzler simple in concept, but difficult in execution!

Getting real tense, huh? Pause at 2:24. I know what you're thinking, but here's the deal in Dr. Mario: There's never a mess too big that you can't clean up! Just gotta be careful not to slip-up. Again. (Side Note: The pills speed up as the match goes on.)

When I finally beat the guy, it's because he threw the match. What a cad! You see what he did at 5:20? He matched up the colors really well, sure, but built a bridge - the bad kind! Y'know, no triangles!

Eh, well, there ya go! If you want to unlock the guy, you have to play all the way through on Normal with no losses, INCLUDING the fight with him (and you need to beat Rudy no losses beforehand to even get offered the match.)

I do have him unlocked, by the way. You can get Vampire Wario the same way, if you play Dr. Mario's Story Mode.

....and before I let you go, what's up with these "fights", anyway? Seriously. What's going on? Do they like, open up a bottle with a disease inside and then "Battle" by popping pills until someone succumbs to the viruses and gags on pills?
