Played on the MiSTer FPGA Irem M72 arcade core set to the more accurate 57Hz refresh rate, default difficulty settings used. Button 1 set to 96ms autofire rate which is roughly 10.4 Hz. A Hori RAP N joystick with a Seimitsu LS-32 lever was used for gameplay.

The M72 version of this game seen in this video plays a bit harder than the M81 version. Our local arcade (I believe) is running that board, and I was able to no-miss up to the final boss a few nights ago without the use of autofire. The enemies are more resilient and take a bit more damage to kill in this version.

I was going to throw the run away at my first death in stage 2 but I decided to play it out and was happy with the recovery I made, so this is the run I'm going with! :) I lasted until the second stage in loop 2, with a final score of 643,800.
