Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden หรือภาคนักรบแห่งอีเดน (ชื่อภาคใหม่คือ Fragments of the Forgotten Past) ออกในเครื่อง PS1 ในปีคริสตศักราช 2,000 ขายได้ 4 ล้านชุด ในปีคริสตศักราช 2013 ได้ Remake ในเครื่องพกพารุ่นใหม่อย่าง 3DS ซึ่งปรับปรุงใหม่แบบยกเครื่อง ทำดีขึ้นในทุกๆด้าน (ออกมาอย่างกับเกมใหม่เลย) แถมหาง่ายขึ้นมากเพราะว่าวางขายในระบบ iOS และ Android แล้ว

เนื้อเรื่องกล่าวถึงการผจญภัยของวัยรุ่นกลุ่มหนึ่ง หมู่บ้านที่พวกเขาอยู่เป็นเพียงหมู่บ้านประมงบนเกาะเล็กๆ โบราณสถานประจำเกาะทำให้พวกเขาเดินทางไปเปลี่ยนแปลงอดีตได้ โดยอาศัยแผ่นที่ที่ทำจากหิน เมื่อประกอบแผนที่ครบการผจญภัยของพวกเราจะเริ่มขึ้น

เกมการเล่นยังคงเหมือน Dragon Quest ภาคที่ผ่านมา (ระบบการเล่นไม่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงอะไรเลย) มีกราฟฟิคที่พัฒนาขึ้นตามเครื่องเท่านั้นที่ทำให้ดูแปลกตา ภาค VII มีระบบอาชีพคล้ายกับภาค VI มีระบบช่วยเหลือผู้อพยพคล้ายภาค IV ทั้ง 2 ระบบทำให้เราต้องเสียเวลากับเกมมากมายหลายชั่วโมงแน่ๆ ความสนุกยังมีเต็มเปี่ยม แฟนเก่าและคนที่เปิดใจอยากเล่นก็เข้าถึงง่าย เป็นอีกหนึ่งภาคที่น่าหามาเล่นเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
