Previously, after concluding the Version 3.0 story, Davilas carried out Quest 455 to upgrade his Mega Zoom Stone with Rendaashia locations. Then, he carried out Quest 511 to increase his level limit to 105. Now, he will begin Version 3.1 by going to the Abyss Gate and passing through to Nadragand.

Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. He goes outside and Zooms to True Meru Sandy.

True Meru Sandy (time 1:17):

At the pub, Davilas changes his job to Level 100 Minstrel. Afterwards, he uses the Dragon Flute to summon his flying dragon.

True Rendaashia (time 2:40):

Davilas lands at the Abyss Gate over Eteene Island around E-5.

Abyss Gate (time 3:41):

Davilas lands at D-7 in the south.

At D-2 in the north, he examines the gate. This triggers a cutscene sequence involving Maiyu and Daston. Cool vehicle, Maiyu! Where can we get one? However, their entry to Nadragand is a bit alarming.

Red-Hot Wilderness (time 8:29):

Some further scenes take place when Davilas arrives in the first portion of Nadragand, the Red-Hot Wilderness in the aptly named Flame Province. He gets a warm welcome.

Apeka Village (time 10:28):

Eventually, Davilas comes to in Apeka Village. He meets a Dragovian acolyte named Estela and Mayor Neol. Estela in particular is an important character throughout Version 3. Davilas learns the gesture Dragon-Style Prayer (竜族式の祈り). Very important.

After the scenes, Davilas gains control in Apeka Village. He takes the opportunity to set his respawn point to this new place. He starts at A-2 in the mayor's house in the northwest. The first objective is to head for the town's exit.

As Davilas leaves the mayor's house, an establishing scene shows the village. It looks quite volcanic here. Where is our Goron Tunic?

Davilas goes to the church and sets a Zoom Stone to Apeka Village.

Davilas enters the bank at C-4 near the church. Up the ladder, he opens a black chest for 3 Mini Medals. He now has 425 Mini Medals.

At H-4 in the east, Davilas opens a black chest for a Sage's Elixir.

At F-7, Davilas exits to the Red-Hot Wilderness.

Red-Hot Wilderness (time 21:44):

Davilas gains control at D-3. The field music for this area comes from Dragon Quest VI. However, the battle music comes from Dragon Quest IX. As Davilas ventures east, he encounters a couple of the local enemies.

His next destination is the Shrine of the God Nadraga at E-3.

Shrine of the God Nadraga (time 24:17):

Davilas gains control at D-7 in the south.

He goes north to the altar at D-1. There, he uses the gesture Dragon-Style Prayer (竜族式の祈り). This prompts another cutscene sequence with the lovely Estela.

Red-Hot Wilderness (time 26:44):

The cutscenes continue in the Red-Hot Wilderness. Davilas and Estela come across an unconscious young Dragovian.

Apeka Village (time 27:39):

The cutscenes continue further in Apeka Village. The wounded young Dragovian is Gida, and it is evident that his actions have angered Mayor Neol.

After the scenes, Davilas gains control just inside Apeka Village. The next objective is to rest at the inn.

In the inn at F-5, Davilas talks to Innkeeper Zokra. He gets to spend the night for free. My favorite price! But what will he have to do in return?

As Davilas leaves the inn, another cutscene takes place at E-5. He observes some villagers gossiping. The next objective is to check on Gida at Gida's house.

Davilas enters Gida's house at G-3. This prompts a cutscene with Estela and Gida.

After the scenes, Davilas gains control outside Gida's house. The next objective is to go to Flaming Tree Hill at the southern end of the Red-Hot Wilderness.

At F-7, Davilas exits to the Red-Hot Wilderness.

Red-Hot Wilderness (time 39:57):

Davilas makes his way southeast from the village.

At E-6, he opens a black chest for three chunks of Nadradite Ore.

At E-6, Davilas exits to Flaming Tree Hill.

Flaming Tree Hill (time 41:56):

Davilas gains control at D-2 in the north.

As he goes south and approaches the Flaming Tree, a scene with Estela and Gida takes place at D-3. When Estela asks Davilas a question, he agrees to help. The next stop is Purgatory Valley.

After the scene, Davilas regains control at the base of the flaming tree at E-7. On the southern side of the tree, he opens a black chest for a Dragon Scale.

At D-1, Davilas exits to the Red-Hot Wilderness.
