Davilas is currently working on the Meru Sandy storyline in western Rendaashia. Previously, he and his party explored the Mysterious Underground Waterway near Meru Sandy and defeated the Right Nightmare Hand. Mishua has now been freed. It is now time to get out of the dungeon and head back to Meru Sandy.

Davilas starts out on the third floor of the dungeon. He drops down from the water channel at E-5 (time 3:22). This takes him down to the water basin on the first floor.

At E-5 in the first floor's water basin, there is a black chest containing a Sage's Elixir (time 3:34). Nice find!

Then, at F-1, Davilas exits the dungeon by using the ladder (time 6:18). Once he is out, he zooms back to the village of Meru Sandy (time 6:50). Typical village music is now playing there. Nice!

Davilas spends a little time showing how to sell things on the bazaar. This is potentially more lucrative than selling to NPC shops. You have to pay a small listing fee in advance. Whenever an item sells, you will receive your money in the mail.

Then, Davilas goes to play some lotto with the concierge (time 17:53). There are plenty of worthwhile prizes.

Before reporting in to the village chief to conclude the Meru Sandy storyline, Davilas changes vocations to Level 25 Martial Artist (time 27:49).

When ready, he heads into Chief Gasshu's house at D-3 (time 29:07). Rasuka is excitedly telling Gasshu about Zankuroune's heroics. Gasshu is excited, too. However, a startling change has come over Mishua. Rasuka returns the Butterfly Hairpin to her, but she decides to give it to Davilas instead. Davilas now has the first of three butterfly emblems! Other rewards include 195,000 experience points, 195,000 orb points, and 4,800 gold.

After the scene, Davilas jumps from Martial Artist Level 25 to Level 36 (time 33:26). He gains 32 skill points. He dumps them into the Martial Artist's Focus skill for a total of 72. At 48 points, he learns an ability (不撓不屈). I believe it is Mens Sana, which heals status ailments on the user, though it can only be used in the Martial Artist vocation. At 56 points, he gains a stat boost of 10 to "Chikara." Maybe Strength? At 70, he learns "Otakebi," or War Cry, which can stun enemies in a small area around your character. Not a bad ability!

At D-2 in the northwest of the house's lower level, there is a red chest containing Mini Medal #165 (time 35:09). Counting the 43 he has already spent, Davilas is currently at 122 medals.

Afterwards, Davilas changes back to Level 59 Minstrel (time 36:50).

Now, he will venture forth on the way to the next region in Rendaashia. He leaves town for the Meru Sandy Grain Fields (time 38:35). The path leads south through Rhone Forest.

The exit to Rhone Forest is in the south at E-7 (time 41:27). A lovely area with unfriendly residents. Look out for Boss Trolls in the narrow passageways. Fortunately, this area is not like Rhone in Dragon Quest II.

At the base of a wooden stairway at D-2, there is a red chest containing 5 Magic Vials (time 42:39).

At E-3, there is a red chest containing 5 Magic Vials (time 44:05). It is on the eastern rise, and it can be reached by crossing the tree root from the western rise.

Davilas also stumbles across a blue chest at D-3 (time 44:35). This contains 1,170 gold.

At D-5, there is a convenient encampment about midway through this zone (time 47:02). It has the basics, including a priest for setting a Ruura Stone.

On a ridge at C-5/D-5, there is a red chest containing 3 Magic Waters (time 50:30).

Davilas continues his exploration south past the exit leading toward Seredotto Mountain Road, which goes to the next town.

Another monument can be found at D-7 in the northwest of the map's southern section (time 52:06).

At F-8, there is a red chest containing Mini Medal #166 (time 54:06). Counting the 43 he has already spent, Davilas is currently at 123 medals.

At F-7, there is a black chest containing a Yellow Orb (time 55:14).

This concludes chest raiding in Rhone Forest, so Davilas zooms off to Glen to rest (time 55:28). After resting, he reaches Fame Level 16 (time 56:15). Whee!

In the next video, he will continue on his way to the next town.
