Part one of my play-through of Dragon Quest XI.
The story begins with the birth of a child of prophecy, one that to some heralds peace but to others it is means the beginning of the end of days and as such they move to get rid of the child, fortunately the child survive the assassination attempt and is taken in by a family in the countryside. We then flash forward through the child’s adolescence to witness him and his friend participate in the village’s rite of passage to becoming an adult.
