More seriously, it fangame demo. This game is hard, wow. Pressing X allows you to use a character-specific "aspect shift" instead of a bomb.
Stage 1 is a nice and simple start. We have a bird who is not carrying another bird, wearing a hat, or using a cellphone as the boss. Farming Intentional Flight (as opposed to Unintentional Flight) in Kasen's aspect shift seems very good. The lasers in her last spell annoy me a ton since they speed up after activating - I'd rather just have them be that fast all the time.
Stage 2 is where things get a lot harder imo. Dense random bullets, and Reddit-chan shows up being all introverted and quirky. The fairies that shoot super thin lasers can be an amazing source of graze...if you're lucky. Introvert-chan shows up again and her boss is pretty interesting. I HAAATE her last spell, and you don't exactly have a traditional bomb with this team so you will have to deal with patterns you don't like.
Stage 3 is the one where I'm pretty sure you can stay in your aspect shift the entire time (or close to it). Ebola-chan is the boss of this one, and I think it's a great way to end the demo.
Overall, the visuals are pretty on-point. The music is very samey, though - the stage 1 theme and the stage 1 boss theme are very similar, and all of the songs really have the same "feel" - maybe it's the instruments used? Looking forward to more, regardless.
