DuckTales for the NES, originally titled "Wanpaku Duck Yume Bouken" (わんぱくダック夢冒険) in Japan, is a classic action platformer video game developed by Capcom and released in 1989. The game was designed and produced by a team led by Tokuro Fujiwara, known for his work on other popular Capcom titles. Based on the animated TV series DuckTales, the game follows Scrooge McDuck on a global quest to collect treasures, using his iconic pogo stick jump as both a weapon and a tool for exploration.
