Active vs. Passive
There are two main types of EX skills. The first type you will get to play with are EX passives. You can get these pretty early on and what they do is modify existing skills. The most common modification is increasing a skill's damage. EX passives can do other things too but it varies between skills.

EX actives on the other hand is an entirely new skill. It is something you can use and while it may have a name similar to other skills, EX actives DO NOT SHARE COOL DOWNS. -so you can use both skills one after another-

TP System
Starting at level 50, you gain 1 TP per level. Total of 21 TP from level 50 to 70. At level 60 and 65, you will have a quest to obtain a TP Book. Using both books will net you a grand total of 23 TP.

Seria sells a TP Reset Book for 1,000,000 gold. If you don't like your current TP configuration, you can reset it. If you SP (skill point) reset you'll get TP reset included.
