Guys,
been playing a long time (Since about '82) and have a long standing
group that thanks to them internets has been able to get back together
somewhat regularly using Roll20. The problem I have is that while it
is good that we can all get together again, several of my players are
what I would call 'occasional' players.
Due to work schedules, family etc I really only have 3-4 "regulars"
that consistently make each session. If everyone is available, we
could have as many as 8 or even 9 for any given session.
There are enough PC/NPC characters that I maintain to fill out that
party that will either fade into the background, be controlled (in
combat only) by another PC or that I simple use as an NPC if I feel
they need it for a given combat.
No one seems to care with PC's just popping in and out story-wise but
how do other folks handle this ?
