Dying Light VR | The Word "Dying"in Dying Light is Redefined With These Mods Installed
10Yes as the title states,this game's diffculty level has been cranked up exponentially...to the point where I would die by getting hit only 2 or 3 times....with health regeneration slowed down by quite a bit...Is it challenging?Absolutely(even without all zombies being turned into runners,I uninstalled that mod)...Is it fun?Umm,for me,no...not particularly,especially with my character being at such a low level,when my stats are maxed out,I may give it a try again but as of now,"dying"repeatedly and being unable to further the main story's progression just sucks...Any masochists out there up for a challenge,should try the mods out for themselves though....enjoy the video(and me getting my ass handed to me over and over again)Also,fyi....anybody having issues recording their gameplay footage on this game,just go into task manager after you start the game up,and find the exe file,right click it and change it's priority to either realtime or high....for me,changing it to high worked beautifully,unfortunately,you'll have to do this,everytime you bootup this game....As always,if you enjoy my videos then please consider liking and subscribing...also don't forget to click on the notications as well....The modlist and VR instructions are provided down below...have fun:-)

Instructions for getting this to run in VR:
This is the "official" VR support by Techland that is hidden in the game files.
This is not for the feint of heart or people that get motion sick very easily.
Step 1:You are going to want to open your documents folder and go to
Dying Light\out\settings and you will see two files,audio.scr and video.scr
Step 2:Now you want to make a text document inside the folder.
Right click anywhere,hover over "new",and select"text document".
Step 3:Open the text document and drag and drop the video.scr file into it.
Now scroll down to the bottom half of the text and enter
"OculusEnabled()"without the quotes.It doesn't matter where you put this.
Be sure to save the document.If you are an oculus user,
this is all you have to do...enjoy Dying Light in VR:-)
Some extra tips to further enhance gameplay:
Turn antialiasing off in settings as this
makes weird texture bugs and it doesn't really
improve the image much...and turn off Nvidia PCSS
because shadows will look different in each eye
and will cause you eye strain...now have fun slaying
the undead...and hopefully not actual living
people...unless they really piss you off lol jk
