8The Novint Falcon is a really impressive piece of technology. It's a device that gives you full, tactile feedback.
It intelligently provides different degrees of shaking, rumbling, jagged movements, smooth ones, various degrees of pressure, etc.
You can almost "feel" the effects of rubber, sand, honey, rocks, etc. The device costs $239 and is in stores now. At the moment, it comes with a couple game packs, on one disc, for a total of around 30 titles, including sports and a variety of others.
You can also take the circular controller off (which has GameCube-like face buttons) and put on a gun controller, which will kick back, have weight to it, etc., and works with Half Life 2.
More PC games are coming in the future, and it may one day be available on home consoles like the Nitnendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Sony PlayStation 3.
