This is probably the worst surge of console fanboyism since...well...the PS3 was announced.

Microsoft left themselves wide open for this publicity stunt, and the brilliance on Sony's part comes in where they tricked consumers into buying their console by announcing the lack of DRM on their console is because of their appreciation of their fans.

More like the appreciation of the CHA-CHING of the cash register. They don't care about you after that.
