Easy Product Photography Hack in 133 seconds (with phone!)

Really easy product photography hack. Even I could do it, so you can too!

Use your one light to light the product from 5 angles. Take a photo of each angle with your camera mounted on a tripod.

You want to light it from left, right, front, behind, and finally illuminate background. I used a colored hue light to light up the background.

Then import all 5 photos into lightroom and do minor adjustments as you see fit.

Then highlight them all, and select edit in photoshop as layers.

Make sure your background is at the bottom layer. Select the next layer up and create a mask. CTRL + I to make the mask black. Now use a white brush to paint in the details of this photo.

Repeat for the rest of the photo layers.

Finally, I wanted to brighten the label, so I added a curves layer. Made it as a black mask (CTRL + I). And I clipped it to the Layer with the label (CTRL + ALT + G)
I wanted it brighter so I added an Exposure layer, same process.
Then finally I added a hue layer, same process. Used the Hue layer to add saturation to the label.

At last the background. I wasn't happy with blue, so I added a hue layer to the background. This time without a mask, adjust the hue to change the background.

and done! To get a good aspect ratio for Instagram I hit SHIFT + C to get the aspect ratio crop commands. 4:5 is a good aspect ratio for instagram.

Export and you're done! Easy.
