Since the introduction of Steam Greenlight and Early Access there has been an issue with frequents amounts of shovelware making its way onto the Steam store.
A legion of early access failures through poor planning or outright dishonest developers abandoning projects when sales fall but keeping interest by promising updates that never come, simply refusing to acknowledge the community or more seriously trying to hide how broken their games are.

Back To Basics Gaming as a small publisher seems to be gaining a reputation for partnering with these kinds of developers either through poor choice and intentionally.
