The lagoon starts off with our hero Ecco meeting another octopus, a rather nasty trigger happy octopus.
We also meet a few terrible worm like things that try to drown us.

So next to the octopus is a tiny stone which we are I need of getting rid of, to do that we need this ring of sea stars in on to break the stone in question. Needless to say we die quite tragically and end up finding another dolphin.
No idea what to do with him though. And in the effort to find out we find yet another Dolphin which we cant bring with us. However we somehow manage to lose that first dolphin and end up dying anyway.
Third time lucky.
