Spaghettios Pizza
• 12 ounces pizza dough
• 1 handful all-purpose flour (for dusting surfaces)
• 2 teaspoons olive oil
• 1 (15-ounce) can Original SpaghettiOs
• 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
• 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
• 4 ounces Italian sausage
Italian Sausage
• 4 ounces ground pork
• Salt
• Pepper
• Parsley
Directions
Set a pizza stone in the oven and preheat the oven to 500° for at least 45 minutes. While the oven is heating let pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Season the ground pork to taste with salt, pepper, and parsley and grill until brown. Set aside until ready to top pizza.
Working on a floured surface use a rolling pin to press and stretch the dough ball out to a 12-inch round. Lightly brush the dough with olive oil and then spread the SpaghettiOs on the dough. Sprinkle with fennel seeds, mozzarella, and top with sausage.
Slide the pizza into the oven peel and onto the pizza stone, opening and closing the oven door as quickly as possible. Bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden, about 8 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
