Vertically taller whoop so that it becomes edf whoop, with cross 4mm aluminium rods for the motor mounts to the chassis, center is a vertical flight controller/esc/battery mounting duct. Chassis weights 90g of ABS, without the aluminium rods and motors etc. Electric ducted fan (edf) makes the whoop have almost 2x power efficiency (around 60% better than plain propellers), and it also gains horizontal plane mode lift with the circular ducted wings. The duct shapes provide flexible bouncing robustness to the chassis with the partially flexible aluminium rods. Weight of the aluminium rods is 4x 25-33g = max 130g, making the drone chassis weight 190-220g, depending on the length of the rods out of the body. When the rods are inside, then the drone can roll on its side as a mono wheel, by differential propeller gyro acceleration. Lateral ring gaps can be a cross shaped aircraft carrier take-off-landing run-ways.
