“Live At 9:30” is a modern-day music variety series filmed at D.C.’s legendary 9:30 Club. “Live At 9:30” puts you front-and-center for the best performances at what Rolling Stone named "Best Big Room in America," one action-packed hour at a time.


Each episode spotlights a unique roster of special guests and a diverse range of featured talent. From music to comedy. From alt-rock, soul, hip hop, folk, punk and synthpop. From emerging stars to living legends.

Premiering spring 2016 on public television, Season One “Live At 9:30” will bring you 12 new hour-long episodes. And Liveat9:30.com will have all the never-before-seen footage, photos, interviews and highlights.

Contributing hosts include punk legend-turned author and actor Henry Rollins, NPR Music’s Bob Boilen, comedian Hannibal Buress, and “Odd Mom Out” creator and star Jill Kargman

Episodes will be fed to public television stations weekly, starting May 28. After the first six episodes seed there will be a break for summer, after which the second six will feed. Following each feed there will be distribution via major streaming services as well. Viewers should contact their local PBS station to learn more about when “Live At 9:30” will air locally.
