Originally I wanted to record 5 minutes of failing at the impossibly tight jump at 1:13, and then examine individual frames to determine the pixel width of the successful jump area. But stuff happens, and I accidentally made it on the first try. So it turned into a normal run.

EDIT: So it turns out that there's a height/distance tradeoff when jumping that is affected by speed. This mechanism is not explained nor is it required anywhere else in the game. The jump is indeed impossible when moving at full speed. The solution is to let go of the right arrow key for an instant, right after clearing the 3rd obstacle. Then a normal jump should work most of the time.
