Thank you to those who told me I was missing this. Turns out there are minor differences in routes if you were to get Rouge instead of Blue, depending on your actions during the Fuse routes.

First, we have the Rouge ending. I did not expect him to have a different reaction from Blue, but he does. Instead of staying and leading the Kingdom, Rouge decides to go travel the Regions alongside Blue and has a blast.

On the other hand, if Fuse goes all the way across Trinity Base, skipping the commander office, then he recruits Emelia, and Mondo calls her in addition to Fuse as well. This leads to a completely different ending where the mask that dominated Ren was metaphorical in that he is fully conscious of what is going on and the one who orchestrated the events of the plot, knowingly admitting he set up Emelia to end up in Despair. This leads to a route where the wedding goes on, and Fuse is not beaten up, which is unfortunate because that was a high point for me. Ha
