RétroGaming 2.0 ;0) Vous présente "Emeraldia"est un jeu d'arcade de puzzle publié par Namco en 1993. Le 26 mars 2009, il a été réédité sur la console virtuelle Wii. Ce jeu a trois modes de jeu ; Aventure, Normal et Versus. Dans les trois modes, les deux joueurs doivent aligner des blocs d'une couleur particulière - et lorsque trois blocs ont été alignés (verticalement), ils se fissureront. Une fois qu'un quatrième bloc de cette même couleur atterrit sur les trois blocs fissurés, ils se briseront tous; pour le mode aventure, le but est de faire descendre les créatures marines piégées au bas de l'écran. Une fois que chaque océan a été nettoyé, le joueur reçoit un objet qui peut être activé en poussant le manche vers le haut et en appuyant sur le bouton - cependant, chaque objet ne peut être utilisé qu'une seule fois, et uniquement dans l'océan qui suit celui qu'il a reçu au Fin de. A la fin du "Mystic Ocean", le joueur doit vaincre un démon marin nommé Jamir, en cassant le bloc qu'il possède avec son visage; il possédera alors un bloc différent, et une fois que les blocs qu'il possède auront été fissurés six fois, il sera vaincu. Cependant, le jeu n'est pas terminé à ce stade - car il reste encore une étape à franchir (appelée "étape d'évasion"), où le joueur doit obtenir sept dauphins roses et un bleu (qui apparaissent dans le cadre de les groupes de blocs) jusqu'en bas de l'écran.

RétroGaming 2.0 ;0)Presents you "Emeraldia" is a puzzle arcade game released by Namco in 1993. On March 26, 2009, it was re-released on the Wii Virtual Console. This game has three modes of play; Adventure, Normal, and Versus. In all three modes, both players must line up blocks of a particular colour - and when three blocks have been lined up (vertically), they will crack. Once a fourth block of that same color lands on the three cracked ones, they will all shatter; for Adventure Mode, the object is to get the trapped sea creatures down to the bottom of the screen. After each ocean has been cleared, the player receives an item which can be activated by pushing the stick up and pressing the button - however, each item can only be used once, and only in the ocean that follows the one it was received at the end of. At the end of the "Mystic Ocean", the player has to defeat a sea demon named Jamir, by cracking the block he is possessing with his face; he will then go on to possess a different block, and once the blocks he possesses have been cracked six times, he will be defeated. However, the game is not over at this point - as there is still one more stage that has to be cleared (called the "Escape Stage"), where the player must get seven pink dolphins and one blue one (which appear as part of the block groups) down to the bottom of the screen.
