2In regards to the Drew situation, I know people think anytime there is a decent "villain" character on Survivor everyone says they are a bad person and I want to be clear that is not what I am saying. I am saying that seeing someone go straight to racially-charged language immediately when they are unhappy with another person, is a red flag, and not "tv-villain" behavior but more "has some issues to sort out" behavior. I also want to clarify when I say "I get that it's a meme to clown on Italians" that is not me saying I'm okay with that or agree with any of it, it's just me acknowledging that I have seen the "the only group it's safe to talk s*** on is Italians now" rhetoric in a few different stand up comedians and content creators in the past couple years for whatever reason and I am aware of that phenomenon. I fully expect to get some push back on this/that take but this is just how I feel, no one's first instinct to hurt someone should involve intolerant rhetoric of any kind. Would love to hear other people's takes and perspectives in the comments though!
