EMPIRE OF SIN My FIRST STEPS - Uncut and Unbiased
Empire of Sin: My first steps. Uncut and Unbiased: Let's play a little of Romero Games / Paradox's new Gangster turn-based combat and management game, it might even be a gangster 4X game. We'll have a look at the beautiful characters, enjoy the music and test the beginning of the game, mostly the tutorial mission. We can see a bit of the combat system and the UI that will be revealing as well as the nice-looking character models and the interaction and dialogue.
I've bought the game myself so I can go at this like you, a normal player.
What is this? Judge for yourself: Is it a tactics game, an economic game, a 4X game, a deep grand strategy game? Or is it all much simpler and it's just a RPG? Fortunately, we can just play, and it doesn't really matter which genre a game is to feel if it's good.. or rather something for you or me.
The Mood, the atmosphere of the 1920s, we're taking that in. The differences of the factions, the first confrontations, the first, baby steps into a game that seems to have no real limits for this first walkaround. Some things are weird-ish, some things feel good, the visuals are very nice for sure, and the sound and music enchant us. But how about the core mechanics? That's why we have a first look... together!
