Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek, desarrollado y editado por Artifex Mundi, se trata de un port del juego aparecido en PC en el año 2011 y que vuelve a brindarnos esa premisa de explorar todos los rincones de cada escenario en busca de pistas como ya lo hicimos con Clockwork Tales: Of Ink and Glass o From the Deep: The Cursed Heart. El estilo de juego sigue siendo muy sencillo, trasladando una fórmula que funciona tan bien en móviles a nuestra consola de sobremesa. Para quien no sepa las mecánicas de este tipo de aventuras,cabe decir que nos encontramos ante un juego de puzles, donde tendremos que encontrar esparcidos en el escenario ciertos objetos que nos serán fundamentales para resolver los acertijos.

La trama de Enigmatis girará en torno a una anónima detective que llega a la localidad de Maple Creek para resolver el asesinato de Kate Burrows. No todo sale como uno quiere, ya que un tornado arrasa con el pueblo, dejando a nuestra protagonista “amnésica perdida”, y con todas nuestras notas de la investigación esparcidas por las calles del misterioso pueblo. Pero, junto a esa desafortunada tormenta que la deja sin memoria, hay algo más oscuro y malvado que asola a los aldeanos de este entorno rural.
