Take an epic musical journey through the land of Hyrule with the Hero of Time! This medley is my tribute to the wonderful music and the spirit of adventure embodied in the Legend of Zelda series. The arrangement features some of my favorite melodies from “Ocarina of Time” performed on one of my own hand made ocarinas (which you can purchase through my website https://www.SpencerOcarina.com ). The music video was shot in many beautiful locations, each one inspired by the iconic places Link explores on his quest. In order to make the world feel as realistic and authentic as possible, I decided to only use actual locations instead of relying on green screen or CGI models. From the Temple of Time to Hyrule Castle, from Gerudo Valley to the Kakariko Windmill, every place actually exists. This certainly brought an extra level of complexity to an already challenging project, but I felt a proper tribute to such a spectacular series deserved the extra effort. I hope you enjoy this music video as much as we did creating it!
