EVEN GOD CONSOLE CON'T KILL DESERT TITAN DIRECTLY AWSOME LOOT DROP
Preparation:
Level Up:
Ensure your character and your tamed creatures are properly leveled up. The Desert Titan is no joke, and you’ll want strong creatures and a high-level survivor to survive the battle.
Aim for at least level 50+, but the higher, the better.
Tame High-Level Creatures:
Tyrannosaurus Rex (T. rex), Rexes, or Yutyrannus for raw damage output.
Therizinosaurus for their high damage and ability to gather resources for healing.
Managarmr can be used for mobility and ranged attacks (good for dodging).
Giga (if you have one tamed) can deal massive damage.
Weapons and Gear:
Rifle (with Tranquilizer Darts): You'll want this for ranged attacks and possibly for knocking out smaller Titans if needed.
Longneck Rifle or Shotguns for close-range combat.
Pump-Action Shotgun for quick damage.
Explosive Devices such as C4 (if you’re going after the Desert Titan using explosive tactics).
Armor and Consumables:
Flak Armor (or better) for high defense.
Health Potions and Stimulants for keeping your health up and stamina high.
Melee Damage Buffing Foods (such as Cactus Broth) to resist heat damage and Enduro Stew for increasing your damage.
Tranquilizer Arrows or Darts if you’re planning to fight the Titan with a focus on taking it down while riding something like a Pteranodon or Wyvern for mobility.
Base Setup:
Consider building a temporary battle base near the Desert Titan’s spawn area if you want to take the fight to it with some cover. It helps to have structures for protection in case things go sideways.
The Fight:
Find the Desert Titan:
The Desert Titan spawns in the Desert biome, often near Lat: 40, Lon: 60 (but it can vary).
It is a flying Titan and can attack from the air, which means you'll need to be able to counter its aerial attacks.
Titan Attacks to Watch Out For:
Electric Storm: The Desert Titan can unleash a storm of electricity that targets survivors and creatures. It’s best to keep your distance when this happens.
Projectile Attacks: The Titan throws a huge projectile that can cause massive damage. Try to dodge this as it has a long-range effect.
Melee Slam: The Titan can also land and deliver devastating close-range attacks, especially if you’re near the ground.
Attacking the Titan:
Stay Mobile: If you’re not using a flying mount, you’ll need to be quick on your feet to avoid its electrical storm and projectiles.
Ranged Attacks: Utilize Ranged weapons to avoid getting hit by the Desert Titan’s devastating melee.
Attack its weak points: The Desert Titan has specific weak points on its body, mainly near its head and under its wings. Focus fire there if you can.
Tips and Tricks:
If you’re playing Solo, consider using taming a Pteranodon or Wyvern and keep them flying around the Desert Titan. This gives you mobility to attack from the air and avoid its ground-based attacks.
Use a Giga or Rexes as meat shields while your ranged character attacks the Desert Titan.
If you’re running a tribe, coordinate roles, where some people deal damage and others distract the Titan or heal creatures.
Keep Pressure on it:
Don’t let the Desert Titan recover. If you’ve got flying creatures, use them to keep attacking while avoiding the Titan’s aerial strikes.
Avoid standing still for too long to minimize getting hit by its attacks.
Use high-damage creatures like Rexes to keep the Titan distracted while you unleash ranged attacks.
Teamwork:
Multiple Survivors: If possible, bring a team. Multiple people can keep the Titan distracted while some provide ranged damage or healing.
If you’re playing solo, your tamed creatures will be critical in surviving long enough to defeat the Titan.
After the Fight:
Defeating the Desert Titan will reward you with an Artifact of the Desert Titan and a Titan Trophy.
The Titan will drop resources that can be used for crafting Titan weapons or armor.
