Update: I cannot advice you to try this in its current state as Shiro has fixed the bug since the video went up. Currently there is no way out once you enter the chief's house from out of bounds. I'm currently checking if there isn't a way to get out regardless, but things are looking grim so far.

And here we have a nice little skip for the recently released Evoland 2. The wall next to the counter in the registration building is not solid and allows you to go out of bounds. Going to the right leads to the Wiking Chief's house, which conveniently also has the same counter next to the wall and thus allowing you to enter the room. This allows you to skip going through the cave area, the troll area, as well as battling 6 normal wikings before getting the fragment. Basically, you skip the entire Fragment of Ice quest except for the boss fight.
A nice little time save, in my opinion.

Just make sure not to walk down after entering the room from out of bounds as it will otherwise trigger a rather lengthy cutscene and make sure to not leave from the chief's door, it will result in a softlock where you exit and are teleported into the wiking blocking the door from the outside, you're stuck inside him. the game saves and as such you'll still be stuck even after loading your save.
Since the convenient table is there, go out of bounds again instead and leave through one of the other room's exits.
