EXIST.EXE is a top down puzzle where the main character is trapped within a digital space. Using their abilities to hack the environment’s code, the player will be able to manipulate the world around them in order to solve puzzles and find their way out.


Overview:

The main gameplay of EXIST.EXE revolves around the player navigating through top down puzzles by pushing objects, manipulating the environment through hacks, and using spawn points to create function tiles that change the puzzle area. Some puzzles will have obstacles such as gates and viruses that will limit the player’s movements which they will have to solve to progress through the game. As the game progresses through different environments, more puzzle elements appropriate to the new environments will be introduced for the player to work with and around.
