6This is a guide on how to complete 'Hardcore Nightfall'.
Nightfall on hardcore difficulty can be quite difficult, the tight spaces and less cash can be a real problem, but with the right teamwork it can be overcome quite easily.
The setup:
Riot Shield, I.M.S, Incendiary Ammo and either Feral Instincts or Armor.
The Strategy:
Since this is three player, you need to focus on a skill each, however on pistols only you will want to put the first two points on upgrading your pistol as this will increase your ammo in the pistol by 50% which is incredibly useful.
Once you have your pistol +2, you can focus on your respective skill E.G One player maxes our armor, one ammo and one feral (Don't use team boosters on a pistols only run as you already reload quick with the pistol and the movement speed from the feral is much more effective.) If you are doing this with different relics and you can use a shotgun, then switch feral for team boosters.
Once each of you have your chosen skills maxed (Armor, Ammo + Team boosters) you can then begin to work on your I.M.S. Ideally this should be upgraded at least one or two times before the final hive as it is ideal for keeping the drill alive.
The main tip is to keep moving and replace your riot shield as soon as it gets destroyed. With incendiary you only need to shoot scouts once or twice and they will burn up, scorpions and hunters take a full clip. So preserve your ammo and work as a team!

It is the tenth primary installment in the Call of Duty series, and the sixth developed by Infinity Ward. The video game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on November 5, 2013, with Treyarch handling the port for the Wii U. The game's release date on next-generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is officially November 15, 2013, and November 22, 2013, respectively, to coincide with the console release dates. However, the game was released earlier for the PlayStation 4 from some retailers.
Square Enix released the game for the Japanese market on November 14, 2013 as a subbed version and released a Japanese voice-dubbed version separately on December 14, 2013. They also released the Japanese voice-dubbed version on February 22, 2014 for PlayStation 4, but a release date is not yet determined for a Japanese Xbox One version.
