The TP Link TL-WA850RE N300 is the easiest of all WIFI extenders I have set up.
In this video, I hold in the factory reset button with a pen, for 5 seconds, connect to the new TPLink Extender WIFI signal that appears in my WIFI signals list. Once connected to the extenders default Wifi, visit the IP address is shows for "router" or "gateway" to open the TP Link configuration screen, and set it to use any password of your choice. Wait for it to scan the local airwaves for WIFI routers, select your WIFI router, enter it's WIFI key or password, press NEXT, press SAVE, then wait for it to reboot, and then re-join your home WIFI network that you just extended.
A few moments later, the extenders own default configuration WIFI SSID will disappear, and my phone now auto connects to my home network via the new WIFI extender since it's broadcasting the same SSID and requires the same password as my existing home WIFI router.
Factory Reset is beneficial if you lose your instructions, your password or you just want to reconfigure in case something appears wrong with it.
