Netflix, Hulu and several other streaming services have a lot of great NEW content... but for an 80s junkie like me, it's not very easy to find actual 80s (i.e. produced/filmed/released) in the 80s movies. Would say it's about a 30/70% split of films actually made in the 80s to films made 1998 and later, that are designed with some element of nostalgia (that is mis-classified as 80s), or is some kind of 80s nostalgia reboot (i.e. Stranger Things). While Stranger Things was great, most of it's kind aren't memorable or successful attempts at the real thing.
