Falcon AF Carrier Landing Aim 54 and F 14 Testing
Testing carrier landing ability:
Speed is critical. Should be 165-210 knots landing speed. found that lower than around 155 and below the aircraft will explode on contact of carrier deck. Take off does not seem possible.
Aim 54 Phoenix missile range and performance:
Can locate enemy contacts at 80 mile range on fire control radar. However targets seem to overlap on radar and appears to switch from target to target until range is closer. We found that starting at around 50 miles the targets are better defined.
Bullseye accuracy : found that Bullseye on multiplayer is effective when all aircraft in the group are set to the same steerpoint.
