Unfortunately I see no way of saving this wastelander in fallout 3.. this rigged npc was doomed the moment Bethesda placed him in the game.. ouch!.. that is the poor fate of the npc! He actually gave me a fright! Appearing out of nowhere like that, it was also funny so it's all good at the end of the day he served his purpose I suppose... but this is what happens in the wastes and it's to be expected.
