taking place in an alternate reality which differs from ours starting at WWII. And it differs in ways like they did not miniaturize electronics and in Fallout 4 you start in the year 2077 as a veteran and a family men/woman who is enjoying the day with their family when they get a knock on the door and then the adventure begins.
