There are a lot of performance improving Mods for Fallout 4 – we compare the mods Insignificant Object Remover with vanilla (unmodded original) Fallout 4. We used FRAPS for frame rate measuring and MSI Afterburner to measure VRAM usage. Please be aware that the vram is being influenced by the capturing program as well as the operating system. I apologize for small Afterburner On Screen Display – it won't be like this in future performance videos. Insignificant Object Remover removes objects that won't be noticed by the player or that are not really necessary such as stones, rocks and so on. The performance gain is small with my 980 Ti but it can be bigger with older and weaker graphics cards.

Es gibt mittlerweile viele Mods um die Performance von Fallout 4 zu verbessern, eine davon ist die Insignificant Object Remover Mod, die wir mit einem Vanilla (also ohne Mods) Fallout 4 vergleichen. Zur FPS Messung haben wir FRAPS benutzt, zum auslesen der VRAM Belastung MSI Afterburner. Wir entschuldigen uns für die unscharfe Darstellung der VRAM-Werte, in künftigen Videos werden sie größer dargestellt. Bitte beachtet, dass der VRAM vom Aufnahmeprogramm und dem Betriebssystem beeinflusst wird. Die Insignificant Object Remover Mod entfernt überflüssige Objekte, die der Spieler entweder nie zu Gesicht bekommt, oder deren Fehlen kaum auffällt. Dazu gehören Steine, Felsen, Gräser und mehr. Der Leistungsgewinn ist mit einer 980 Ti kaum spürbar, mit älteren Grafikkarten kann das anders aussehen.
