Farming Antlion's Glass Sculptures - Don't Starve Together Guide
147If you light Antlion's Sand Spikes or Sand Castles with a Torch or Fire Staff, they turn into a very nice looking Glass Sculpture, which I thought would be great for an Oasis Base I wanted to do.
Antlion has a straight attack range of about 4 turf tiles (straight as in up/down/left/right), and a diagonal attack range of about 3 turf tiles.
For the Sand Spikes, you go slightly into the attack range to bait the Sand Spike attacks, and then go outside of her attack range and light the spikes with a Fire Staff. Then you go to the next clean area to summon more spikes and do it again till you get how many you want.
For the Sand Castles, just get Antlion to summon them and again, light them outside of her attack range. When Antlion shakes her head, that means the fight is over and its safe to collect your Glass Sculptures. Just make sure that if you want both Glass Castles and Glass Spikes, farm the Glass Castles last, cause they will break when Antlion resummons the Sand Castles.
Once you've moved all your Glass Sculptures and want more, you can repeat the process by feeding her another cold Thermal Stone. I do recommend appeasing Antlion a little bit while you're moving the sculptures, if only to buy you some extra time before she causes another sinkhole/cave-in.
