"Hour 14b: Final Boss"
The Final Boss! Awesome setting and her "thoughts" swirling and spoken around the battlefield is just plain creepy and awesome in terms of a final boss setting.
DO NOT LET THIS video fool you, the final boss is easy knowing the pattern but first time, especially on a blind playthrough you may not figure out all the mechanics. I think I died twice (from instant death).
There are two phases: Normal and Shadow.
{PHASE: NORMAL}
Reika has two attack patterns: Ground & Air
On ground, she just slowly walks toward and tries to grab/touch you. You can shutter chance to stop her from attacking. Doesn't deal too much damage though.
In the air, Reika flies and swoop to attack. This one have a Fatal Frame chance which if successful can lead to combo dealing much more damage, a lot. Obviously since this is a much faster attack, the risk is greater.
After a few attacks from Reika, she forces you into the Shadow Realm.
{PHASE: SHADOW}
Everything is black-and-white. You move a lot slower and Reika moves faster (plus have a longer touch range).
Getting touched by Reika here is INSTANT DEATH. This means you want to have a head start in running (even though you won't know where she is going to start-showup from...)
After evading her for a while, you will automatically return to the NORMAL PHASE.
