FE Hack Reviews #7: Nintenlord Saga by Nintenlord [CH3 P2] - Wow. Just wow.
21The chapter goes from being decent, to mediocre.
I already explained in both videos what I felt could've been done better about this chapter, but the following are REALLY bad design decisions:
- Boss is overpowered
- Too many mercenary spawns that come packed with vulneraries.
Two serious design flaws, for different reasons.
The boss has a nosferatu tome, allowing him can regain health on every hit. With high stats in defense, resistance, HP, and magic, he can deal tons of damage and regain more health than your units can deal out, effectively making him impossible to defeat without either wearing out his weapon so that he is defenseless, or by getting REALLY lucky.
As for the mercenary thing. It's mainly a problem because you can farm a huge amount of vulneraries, which kind of makes things a bit too easy. It's basically saying "Hey! Here's a bunch of free vulneraries! Have fun!"

- Marvin dies the neccesary death (And doesn't tell us the meaning of life)
