This gets misunderstood sometimes, but it's now settled in to a more fond, classic reception. Which is correct, because although the game is a gigantic clusterf*** of Sunsoft design, it is done in the best way possible. It's weird, chaotic, has Fred and aliens as enemies, and can be very humorously jank and imbalanced...but that kind of sums up the Addams Family. The reason why I'm not starting from scratch is because unless you've played the game before, you're going to start this by continuing a lot until you get a feel for things.

It's a "map things as you go" action adventure, so if you go in with the expectation of dying a lot while you piece is all together, you will have fun. Plus, Sunsoft never misses with their music.
