Final Fantasy VII Remake was an ambitious reimagining of a beloved classic '90s video game. Rather than a simple graphical update, FF7 Remake rebuilt the game from the ground up with a revamped real-time combat system, voice acting, an updated score, and more.

However, Square Enix also made key changes to the plot that undercut some of the most dramatic moments from the original game. They also added a lot of new content... and most of it isn't very good.

I enjoyed much of my time playing FF7 Remake, but the changes to the story really dragged down the experience and bummed me out.
