This video contains the Mist Cave, first boss of the game, the big scene in Mist, the eents in Kaipo and a new party member.

The Mist Cave is easy to go through for Kain and Cecil. At the end you face the Mist Dragon. Standard attacks and Jump do well here. However, when the Mist Dragon turns to Mist, wait and don't attack as she will counter.

After the fight, dequip Kain of his stuff. no one in the recent time can equip his things, so sell them for extra cash. After the events in mist, you can't return to baron for some time. Take the girl and head to Kaipo. Cecil is battling alone the new enemies in the desert are not hard.

In Kaipo, you automatically enter the Inn. During the night, you are attacked by soldiers. To get the commander's bestiary entry, you have to kill him before finishing off the grunts. He only tells them to attack. When he's alone, he will retreat. Since he's in the back row, it might take some turns to defeat him. Afterwards, Rydia joins you.

Rydia is a whitemage/black mage/summoner. She learns the basics of both magics except for Fire right away. She only has the Chocobo summon, but Imps, Bomb,s Cocktrices and mind Flayers can rarely drop their own summons to teach her. As of now, you can only get Imp and Cocktrice. She joins at level 1, so you need to raise her up some levels to survive and get better magic. Do so before you enter the Waterway too much as you gain a third party member who is also a wizard but has high EXP to next level, making him an EXP black hole that could be better used for Cecil and Rydia.
