Fighters' Impact - PS1 Gameplay - Silene Rambert - Arcade Mode - 1080P
10Behold! perhaps the worst fighting game to ever exist on the PlayStation 1 console. Fighters' Impact is perhaps the worst 3D fighting game that I've ever had the misfortune of owning/playing (VS. comes a close runner up).
Take the base idea of most 3D fighting games at that time, add in a new mix of taking that that 1 character and giving them 3 different styles of fighting, now add into that crap budget graphics, awful stage design, music which just loops after itself, a combo system worked and made by a 6 year old and finish it off with controls that have a huge input lag - and here we have it Fighter's Impact.
To say the game is frustrating, disappointing, and out right crap.....well that's being rather generous with it. The game received a very mixed/low scores when it was released and when you compare this to other fighters at the time such as Fighting Vipers, Tekken 2, Last Bronx etc etc.....it really makes you wonder what Taito must have been thinking with this game.
This game would later be revamped and altered slightly and be sold as a new game known as VS. which was just as terrible as what this was and its ONLY saving grace was that it had better BGM.
