Final fantasy 12 playthrough part 43 with live commentary
2We do quite alot today like getting 3 rare games, making some powerful weapons and beating a hunt!
I decided to get the rare game I missed back at the feywood luckly the game timer was on my side!
The Juggernaut spawns in the White Magick's Embrace area along the trees when the game clock's minute shows a number between 0 to 10, sorry if akept saying 9 I didn't remember the time very well LOL!!....but yeah some rare games only appear during a certain time frame as in the in game clock on the bottom right corner! you can steal the Mystletainn which is a monograph drop but it's used to make a spear that i won't be able to make until we get to the next big area of the game note that it's not at gurivegan!
Next I make the strongest hammer in the game which is also the strongest one handed weapon in the game the scorpion tail, like I did on the last part I'll tell you how to get the loot!
3 Charged Gizzard:warmage monograph drop from Thunderbugs in Henne Mines.There are two of these (disguised as chests) in the zone [Crossover B]. Save at the nearby crystal, kill them, then zone out 2 screen and rince and repeat...I didn't have any trouble getting these!
3 wyrm bones: Warmage monograph drop & steal from Skulwyrms, You find them in the Zertinan Caverns in the zone Drybeam Cavern, the skulwyrms can be a little tough so becareful if your underleveled.
4 scorpio gems: there are afew monsters that drop these gems but the best monster is the Buers which are also found in the Zertinan Caverns infact they are in the same place as the skul wyrms...they can also be found in other parts of the caverns aswell it's a uncommon steal so get those thiefs cuffs out!!
After a short detour we go back into the barhiem passsage!! REMEMBER!! you need to do the patient sidequest if you want the key!! in the passage we fight 2 rare games and do a hunt!!
The first rare game in the passage we do is Ithuno.
Ithuno has a 20% chance of spawning for every entry into the area. Upon entering Special Op Sector 5, Ithuno will be in a treasure chest near the end of the area, behind a big rock on the train tracks (also near one of the Surianders and after the Adamantitan). If a chest appears there, one will know it is Ithuno if the bottom section of it is purple and the chest itself is silver (other chests in the area are green), you can also steal a SECOND BEST ONE HANDED SWORD IN THE GAME!!! THE DEATHBRINGER!! and since this isn't a trophy rare game you can get 3 for your party if you want!!
The second rare game in the passage is the same type of monster as the Ithuno the Minibug.
The Minibug is found in the East-West Bypass area of the Barheim Passage in the corner in the east end of the area. It has a 20% chance of appearing, but is said to be higher when Ithuno, another Rare Game, is in Special Ops Sector 5. Unlike Ithuno and Mimics in general, it is not disguised as a treasure chest, making it very easy to spot. You can steal a wrath of the gods from it which is a monograpg drop but that's it!!
Now we can see the new area of the Barheim Passage the enemies here like to spawn like crazy here!! and they can easily overwelm you which was why I got 2 bubble belts for my attackers and put on the bubble gambit for my thief!!.....i also encounter yet another rare BUT this one is a trophy rare game and I didn't want to fight it!! so if it appear jusdt RUN it doesn't appear in every area so you won't be forced to run everywhere!!
Now for the hunt the bloodwing....this thing is easy to beat BUT it' counts as a flying enemy so have those long range weapons ready!!
Lastly after getting the reward for the hunt I make one more weapon which is anew katana for vaan!! the Ame-no-Murakumo whicxh is the third strongest katan in the game. I'll also show you how to make this one because it's apretty good katana which also has the wind element on it!
5 iron ore: Mimeo (Steal/Drop/Poach) Barheim Passage they ra e easy to find they look like the red and white treasure urns getting 5 iron ores won't be a problem!!
7 screamroots: Pumpkin Head (Steal) Salikawood it's a rare steal so use those thiefs cuffs to get them!!
9 water crystals Silicon Tortoise (Drop) Giza Plains - Tracks of the Beast they only appear during the rainy season but they are easiest monster to get the water crystals from it's a uncommon drop so you may need to chian them to get it!!
...WOW!! I covered alot today LOL!!....get used to me making strong weapons in the bazzar now that we are much further in the game alot of optional area have opned up and I plan on exploring ALL OF THEM!!
PS:Next time we get another esper which is in the Barheim Passage.
