February 2024 has been dubbed February Fantasy on the stream. The reason? Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth releases on February 29, 2024. So, I played games in the series up until then.
After not being able to finish FFX due to user error, we moved onto the game prior to Rebirth. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was released in 2020 and was one of the first games I streamed when it came out day 1. Being a huge FF7 fan, seeing that Square decided to remake the game from the ground up was an undertaking to say the least. Would it be a one-to-one remake, or were they going to add more to the lore of the world of FF7. What we got was a reimagining of the first five hours of the original game that fleshed out the world beyond most fans beliefs. As we march ever so close to the release of Rebirth, we will finish the game that started the journey.
