Final Fantasy 7 Remake Review (PC): A Modern Classic? (No Spoilers) - 3 Years Later 2023
Hello. This is my first time playing Final Fantasy 7 (VII). I never played the original Final Fantasy 7 because I felt I had missed out on it. By the time I owned my first PlayStation, it was the PS2 Slim around 2004 or 2005. My friend at the time told me this game was awesome and let me borrow his copy. FF7 had already been out since 1997. I played a few hours into the first disc before a major plot point was spoiled by the friend who let me borrow it! It was an accident but I returned it to him the next day and haven't touched the game since. But here I am now playing the Remake, how does this modern retelling of a classic fare? What's a first-timer's impressions on playing Final Fantasy 7 for the first time. Let's find out!
