Tiamat is capable of casting a variety of spells. If you have trouble, be sure to use Blink, Protect, and Shell on your party. Spells are mostly the way to go to do the most damage you can on this Boss, but physical attacks could work too with Haste and Berserk. Keep your party healthy during the fight and you should do fine.
