I fought Deathguise even though I was aware that you could still run back out before getting into the final duel, because there was some dialogue between Kuja and Zidane.

I honestly tought that I wouldn't be able to recover from Necron's initial assault in time but I managed to turned the tide. It was a pretty intense battle compared to what I had in VII and VIII.

Oh, and this was another final battle I did completely blind, I had only previously fought Deathguise for five seconds before resetting to record this battle. This is not counting me watching years ago a few minutes of ArtificialRaven's FFIX final battle video. All I remembered was badass music and that he had Vivi in his party.

Amarant is one bad mother. I would've chosen Steiner to be in my party but he doesn't provide much that Zidane can't dish out better.
