A treasure room at the temple section of the den has a quartet of treasure chests. One of them contains the Gungnir, but to get it, you must duel against a Neslug first. The Neslug will give the target a tongue bath, inflicting the slow status condition. If it uses megaton smash, the target falls in one hit, even if it is equipped with certain relics that prevent instant death. The shell is so durable that even moves that strike regardless of defenses will have a hard time inflicting any damage. The shell can cast a white wind to heal the head and shell for 9,999 health points. If the head hides in the shell, stand still or use status spells until the head pops back out. After you defeat it, the Gungnir is all yours.
