The first boss that COULD prove to be a challenge if you don't know what to do. Defeat the arms first (with Auron, preferably) and focus on the head with Wakka or Lulu, especially whenever it starts moving suspiciously. Once the hands are defeated (they return after a while) start attacking the body. Tidus should definitely cast "Haste" whenever he can.
The second time against the boss should be much easier due to "certain conditions".
